About Charlie

Charlie has established himself as one of Australia’s rising elite freestyle swimmers. During his four-year career at Alabama, he was a multiple-time All-American and First Team All-SEC performer, won the SEC title in the 200-yard freestyle, and set multiple Alabama school records.

He was also a two-time NCAA finalist in the 200 freestyle, finishing fourth at the NCAA Championships in both 2024 and 2025.

Following his collegiate career, Charlie returned to Australia and earned a place on the Australian Dolphins National Team. He made his international debut at the 2025 World Aquatics Championships and most recently helped Australia earn a silver medal in the 4x200-meter freestyle relay at the 2026 Pan Pacific Championships.

This high-energy clinic will focus on the skills that make freestyle faster, more efficient, and more competitive.

Charlie will share his experience from the NCAA and international levels, giving swimmers a unique opportunity to learn from someone who has raced at the highest levels of the sport.

SESSION 1 — AGES 13+

Advanced Freestyle Racing

Swimmers will work on:

• Comprehensive freestyle racing technique
• Developing speed and efficiency
• Fast starts, turns & breakouts
• Race strategy and pacing
• Relay technique and racing skills
• Insights from Charlie’s NCAA and international racing experience

SESSION 2 — AGES 9–12

1:30–3:00 PM
Freestyle Fundamentals

Swimmers will work on:

• Freestyle technique & efficiency
• Body position and stroke mechanics
• Fast, efficient starts
• Freestyle turns and breakouts
• Racing skills to help swimmers get faster
